Certificate III In Aged Care (CHC30208)

Delivery Method:	Flexible Delivery On-the-job Classroom 3 Month program - 1 day per week $150.00 (A $350 resource fee applies).** $1500.00 non-funded
Training Method:	We deliver this program on-site at a Peninsula Aged Care facility, you will experience first hand all the requirements and personal commitment to work within this industry.
Course content:	Supporting Older people Work safely in direct care Participating in Aged Care Responding to challenging behaviour
Assessment Method:	You will be assessed through on-the job tasks via observation and competency based skills. You will be required to submit assignments and participate in classroom discussion and activites. Upon successful completed you will receive Certificate III in Aged Care.

Certificate III Childrens Services (CHC30708)

Date :	20th Feb 2012 (Frankston) 20th March (Frankston Day), 19th April (Mornington Day)
Location:	Mornington, Frankston & Narre Warren
Delivery Method:	Flexible Delivery On-the-job Classroom 15 week program – one day per week $187.50 (A $262.50 Resource Fee Applies) $150.00 (A $350 resource fee applies). Effective all courses after 1st March 2012 $1500.00 non-funded This child care course is especially designed for those who are working or intending to work within the children's services industry. It provides a useful introduction into understanding, caring for and supporting the development of young children. This qualification covers workers who use organisation policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.
Assessment Method:	You will be assessed through on-the job tasks via observation and competency based skills. You will be required to submit assignments and participate in classroom discussion and activites. Upon successful completed you will receive Certificate III in Childrens Services CHC30708.

Cert IV in Celebrancy (CHC42608)

Location:	Bentons Square Community Centre
Delivery Method:	On-the-job Classroom One night per week / every 2nd Saturday $150.00 (A $750.00 resource fee applies).** $2250.00 non-funded This qualification covers the board based skills and knowledge that underpin a range of Celebrancy roles, as well as addressing specific legislative responsibilities of marriage celebrants and providing a range of electives representing different aspects of Celebrancy work.
Assessment Method:	You will be assessed through observation and competency based skills. You will be required to submit assignments and participate in classroom discussion and activites. Upon successful completed you will receive Certificate IV in Celebrancy CHC42608

Delivery Method:	Flexible Delivery On-the-job Classroom 38 week program – one night per week & 6 Saturdays $200.00 (A $600.00 resource fee applies).**

Funding Opportunities

	**Victorian Government There is funding available through the Victorian Government. The Victoria Training Guarantee entitles eligible students to a government subsidised place if:
	A citizen, permanent resident of Australia or other specific visa category holder and any of the following: under 20 years old, no matter what accredited course you are doing doing a Foundation Level course (preparation for work, literacy and numeracy courses) doing an accredited course that is higher than any you have completed in the past. (Accredited courses are nationally recognised and you get an official certificate of completion to show you have the necessary skills).
